Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis + Bloodwork

A Functional Blood Chemistry Analysis uses existing or new blood tests to assess your diet, hydration, nutrient deficiencies, detox capabilities, and more! This analysis looks for where you can improve your wellness through lifestyle changes. It is a doctor’s realm to look at the blood tests with an eye for diseases and medications. It is my realm to help you identify a wellness lifestyle that works you right now. You will receive:

A personalized report containing your analysis
Suggestions of what to test next time to gain more information or for comparison to see your incremental changes
Specific ideas of what do to improve your wellness
A 55 min consultation to discuss the analysis and answer questions

Your existing blood tests results will be uploaded to me through a secure link.

New blood test orders will be placed at LabCorp so you can easily schedule your early morning appointment. The cost of these blood tests is not going to be covered by insurance but submission to your FSA/HSA account is possible (not guaranteed) - but only if you contact Zoa ahead of purchasing.

Level 1 Wellness panel contains the following tests:

A Complete Blood Count (CBC)
A Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP)
Important minerals like Magnesium and Phosphorus
Iron Panel including Ferritin
Glucose Metabolism markers: LDH, Insulin, HBA1C
Inflammation markers: CRP-High Sensitivity, GGT, Uric Acid, Homocysteine
Lipid Panel and Vitamin D
Basic Thyroid panel
DHEA-Sulfate – the basis for all your reproductive hormones

Level 2 Wellness panel contains the following tests:

Whole Blood Histamine as a measure of your ability to methylate and remove toxins from your cells
C-peptide accompanies the insulin marker and helps understand of the pancreas is producing insulin or if the insulin is just not being used
Sedimentation rate – how thick is your blood? Can it even flow?!
Thyroid panel that includes free hormone levels, antibodies, selenium
Vitamin B12, Folate, and Vitamin D2
